Well, DorkTopia has been around for almost 6 months now, and I think it'll be nice if we hold our first contest! ^^

So if any of you have an idea of what our first contest should be, comment here or send a note with a subject like Contest Suggestion. Also, if you have any ideas on prizes, include that too! I'm not sure if subs will be able to be one of the prizes, but I'll see if I can give one to whoever gets first place. xD

Also, I noticed that we don't really have many art submissions. If you have something you would like to add to the gallery, click on the Submissions link above to see how to submit one. But remember, only one per month, and no mature content! Another thing about submissions: I noticed that a couple of people have been :+fav:ing the art in our gallery. Please remember to :+fav: and/or comment on the ACTUAL artwork in the creator's gallery, not ours.

Ooh I am so gulity of not submitting some things in the gallery! XD
Contest ideas...you may have to give some guides. Like should it be on animals, games, people, original characters/creations, places, misc. and etc. ^_^ And then get more specific from there...I honestly can't think of anything! O.o

Will get back to you on that. :D

Yeah I definitely would love to submit somthing if that's ok!

Hm....for contests...how about a theme such as, "it would really suck if..." or "i was walking in the park when...". That way people are able to show some of their creativity, and they can be judged more on their creative ability rather than their skill?
